Social Worker and Therapist

Welcome

If you found this page and you are curious about therapy, that is enough, and I’d be happy to hear from you. You are allowed to feel anxious and uncertain when thinking about therapy. Part of my job is helping you decide if therapy is right for you. Take some time to read more about me, and send me a message if you have any questions.

Service Highlights

What you experience:

It's a conversation with someone interested in hearing what you have to say. We gain insights into who you are, discuss how life could be different, and look at what is getting in the way of the life you want. Together we aim to try new things, build new skills, and search for more fulfillment in your daily life.

What's happening behind the scenes:

My work is informed by something called functional contextualism. It means we want to appreciate the important aspects of your life (context) to understand what keeps you thinking or acting in certain ways (function). Then you decide what kind of changes are realistic and will make the best impact on your life. I help by reaching into my metaphorical bag of resources from therapies like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy Skills (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness. Together we decide how to take on life's challenges in a way you can feel proud of.

  • Book a free 15-minute consultation to learn more and ask any questions you have.

  • Book a 50-minute session for $130 to start working on what is important to you.

  • At this time consultations and sessions are by phone or video.
